Parent Book Club: The Anxious Generation
Parent Book Club: The Anxious Generation
Led by Dr. Nicole Fabian Engelke, 360 Educational Consulting
Join for an in-person discussion of Jonathan Haidt’s powerful new book, The Anxious Generation, which explores how the rise of smartphones, changes in childhood, and growing academic pressures are impacting today’s kids.
As an experienced educator and school leader, I will lead the conversation with a focus on how these themes connect to learning, motivation, executive functioning, and what children are experiencing in and out of school. We will discuss key takeaways, raise questions, and share strategies for supporting confident, independent learners in a rapidly changing world.
This book club is a chance to connect with other thoughtful parents, reflect on the challenges of modern childhood, and walk away with ideas you can bring into everyday life.
Whether you have finished the book or are still reading, all are welcome.
Space is limited. RSVP HERE to reserve your spot! Address location will be provided after registration is complete.
